do birds forget how to build their nests?

Birds don't discuss nest-building or go to workshops to facilitate or optimise the nest-building process. Human beings create languages, rules and brilliant technological ways of developing their potential. But have you thrown the baby out with the bathwater and forgotten that you actually know how to build your own nest?

When you're in your natural state, you live like the birds do, building nests because it's in their nature to do so. You build for yourself, and for others. It feels blissful too, but that's not an end in itself. This state enables you to act. To know what the next step is, and to do it.

So how to get to the natural state? Stop isolating yourself, pretending to be separate. You're no different from the energy the world runs on, the energy the world is.

Easier said than done?

First you need to identify what's cutting you off from being in the natural state. A major factor is mental activity. This isn't to demonise thinking. Thinking's indispensable for many purposes - but it's also over-used in areas for which it's simply inappropriate. Knowing what's the right thing to do next in life, out of a range of sensible options, is one of those. You can argue and counter-argue all day long but unless you have access to some other state of being, you'll never really know.

Living's a creative process. Creativity is not a special way of being or skill reserved for 'artists'.

I discovered what I call the Creative Regeneration process in my own life, putting together ways I've found that help me to get free from the mental processes and emotional reactions that would otherwise trip me up. The process consists of meditating, focusing (getting a felt sense of things in the body), free writing (bypassing the censor) and intuitive painting (a dance of pure pleasure, that shows me how to live).

If you want to join me and regenerate your own creativity and natural abilities to live without producing extra stress (life's hard enough as it is!), to know what the next step is, and to be of use to others, able to actually do something to influence the world rather than sit and think about it – you're more than welcome to join the digital Creative Regeneration journey which runs in January. If you do, you'll be provided with masses of instructions and inspiration, emailed to you throughout the month, along with a pdf book, video and audio meditations and demos, a private group community space, and a session with me.

It's less than half the investment if you get it as a perk in the crowdfunding campaign that finishes on Tuesday Dec 4th! So if you feel it, best to leap. Click here and choose it as one of the perks, down the right hand side of the page. I really hope to see you there.

with love,

Sarah
