buddhism
I preach a subtle dharma, being thus able
to cause the beings to open their thoughts to joy
Sentient beings are numberless; I vow to save them
Cravings are inexhaustible; I vow to put an end to them
The dharmas are boundless; I vow to master them
The Buddha Way is unattainable; I vow to attain it
As long as space remains,
As long as sentient beings remain,
Until then, may I too remain
And dispel the miseries of the world.
